Three Sinha Industries, a pioneer company in Sri Lanka’s construction industry recently donated Breas Vivo 2 Ventilator, Humidifier for Viva 1-2-3, Heated Wire Patient Circuit and Oxygen Concentrator Unit with Mask to the Lady Ridgeway Hospital, in line with their corporate sustainability responsibilities. This equipment, worth over two million rupees will be immensely helpful towards children who are suffering from respiratory illnesses.
The equipment was donated in lieu of the Three Sinha Industries Managing Director Mr. Manjula Ariyakumara’s birthday. Lady Ridgeway Deputy Director Dr. Santhushitha Senadhipathi, Professor Pujitha Wickramasinghe, Child Respiratory Illnesses Specialist Dr. Channa de Silva participated at the ceremony together with Three Sinha Industries Managing Director Mr. Manjula Ariyakumara, Head of Human Resources Mrs. Chamila Yurangi, Finance Manager Mr. Rajee Gayan, Sales Manager Mr. Ravindu Arachchige, Business Development Manager Mrs. Kaushalya Rathnasiri, Factory Manager Mrs. Tekla Thiranagamage and Accountant Mrs. Nadeeka Jayasinghe.
“Lady Ridgeway Children’s Hospital is Sri Lanka’s largest children’s hospital, treated children from around the country. Due to the current economic condition, we are facing problems with obtaining the necessary medicine and medical equipment. We are truly grateful to Three Sinha Industries for this contribution during such a time,” Deputy Director of Lady Ridgeway Hospital Dr. Santhushitha Senadhipathi stated.
“Our institution has always been involved in CSR activities as per our responsibility. We take part in tree planting for the environment as well as various contributions and donations. This is yet another such activity and we hope to continue similar activities in the future,” Managing Director of Three Sinha Industries Mr. Manjula Ariyakumara stated.
